Renting an Apartment in Seabrook

Seabrook is the most south-eastern city of Harris County, Texas.  Seabrook's closest neighbors include La Porte to the north; Pasadena to the north west; Houston, El Lago and Taylor Lake Village to the west; and League City, Clear Lake Shores and Kemah to the south. Seabrook is bound by Galveston Bay on its east side and Clear Lake to its south.

Clear Lake and Clear Creek separate Harris County from Galveston County. Residents of Seabrook pay property tax to both Harris County and the Clear Creek Independent School District in Galveston County, United States. The population was 9,443 at the 2000 census.

Seabrook is well-known among Houston metropolitan residents for it fish markets on Waterfront Dr. where resident shrimpers and fishermen bring in their catch daily. Besides bordering the bay, the city encompasses marshes though which runoff from inland fields drain to the bay. There are eight miles of continuous trails from Hammer St. to Galveston Bay at Pine Gully Park.
